A serious problem

Hi,
I am using TRichEDIT in my application and now want to edit *.RTF file but I don't want to use this TRichEdit for editing *.RTF file, I want to use ansi I/O as AssignFile, ReadFile,...etc. So I don't know the *.RTF files stucture and don't know how to insert or remove a string, paragraph form this file. Who can help me, please tell me more.
